ThispaperpresentsontheresultsofeightcasestudiesperformedaspartofaresearchprojectindevelopmentofonlineSPCinMalaysianSMEsmanufacturingcompanies.Itproveddifficultattimesbecausethewholeprocessinvolvedseekinginformation,someofwhichareconfidentialandcompanieswerenotwillingtocooperatewithit.However,despiteseveraldifficultiesfaced,thecasestudiesweresuccessfullycompleted.Thepresentationofthecasestudiescoverthreemainareas,whicharethebackgroundofthecompany,generalaspectsofSPCimplementationandSPCsoftwareemployedbythecompany.Finallythecasestudiesarediscussedandconcludedwithdirectionsforpotentialresearch.KnowledgegainedfromthisstudywouldbeinvaluabletotheMalaysiangovernment,especiallytheMinistryofIndustryandTradeanditalsoservesaguidetotheorganizationsthatareplanningtoimplementoneofTQMphilosophythatisknownasSPC.
